Peter Crouch & wife Abbey Clancy announce the birth of their 4th child as footballer jokes he’s named the child after Liverpool’s Divock Origi



Congratulations are in order for ex-England/Liverpool striker, Peter Crouchand his wife, catwalk model Abbey Clancy. They have announced the arrival of their fourth child, a baby boy.

Taking to his Twitter page on Tuesday, the Burnley striker shared the first picture of his newborn son, and joked about naming him after a fellow football star, Liverpool's Divock Origi. 

"Our beautiful baby boy was born Monday 3rd June mother and baby Divock Samrat Crouch are doing well," he tweeted.

Clarifying the name later, Peter added: "Our boy is beautiful the name is still to be clarified, unfortunately Abs not going for Divock Samrat."

The joke comes as Belgian strikerDivock Origi scored two goals for Liverpool in the Champions League during the semi-final against Barcelona, and also went on to score the winning goal that gave Liverpool the Chamapions League troupy against Tottenham on Saturday night.


The couple are already parents to three young children, Sophia,8, Liberty, 4 and Johnny, who was born last year.
